According to the International Coaching Federation Team Coaching is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the coaching profession and is becoming increasingly important in organizations.
Team Coaching empowers teams to work toward continued high performance and ongoing development, requiring innovation, flexibility, adaptability and goal alignment – all traits that coaching helps support.
Because team coaching is multi-faceted, team coaches must also have a significantly broader knowledge base when working with teams than with individuals. They need to have an understanding of how to identify and resolve conflict, recognize power dynamics within the team, understand what is required for high performing teams, know how to build team cohesion, develop rules and norms, encourage participation and contribution by all, and promote team autonomy and sustainability.
I am a trained and certified Organization & Relationship System Coach (ORSCC) with the Center for Right Relationship, USA and I also facilitate a series of Diagnostics to identify the right levers for the teams to accelerate the time to realizing sustainable benefits.
